Annie's Project
Annie’s Project includes brief presentations and extended discussions with agricultural professionals. Women wanting to take a more active role in the business side of the farming operation will find this program motivating and enjoyable. The success of this project has enabled it to grow from a southwest Illinois program to one that is now offered in many states. This six-week course is designed for farm women with a passion for business involvement. Classes will include critical decision-making and information topics regarding risk management of production, marketing, financial, legal, and human resources.
By the end of this program, participants will increase their knowledge and abilities in: goal setting, working with professionals to meet goals, and how personalities affect relationships with others.

HISTORY OF ANNIE
Annie grew up in a small town in northern Illinois and eventually married a farmer. Annie spent her lifetime learning how to be an involved business partner with her husband. While they were successful, the learning process was not easy.
Seeing her struggles, Annie’s daughter, a former extension agent in Illinois, created Annie’s Project to take her experiences and share them with farm women living and working in a complex business.
