Event Description
A Family & Farm Ag Day is planned for Saturday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring your kids to this interactive experience at the south entrance of Panther Creek Park.
Learn about Daviess County’s farm heritage and see what it takes to run an agricultural enterprise in the 21st century.
Unique antique and late-model farm implements will be on display. The event will feature demonstrations on row crops and grain bin safety, plus the mobile classroom from Southwest/Southland Dairy Farmers.
The local FFA chapter is planning a series of competitions called the “Ag Day Olympics.”
Health screenings will be provided along with information from the Raising Hope initiative through the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. Visitors will also find multiple food trucks on site.
The event is produced in collaboration with Daviess County Farm Bureau and the Daviess County Cooperative Extension Service.
