Daviess County 4-H Crushers are a trap shooting team open to youth ages 9-18 (as of January 1, 2024). Practices usually begin in the spring and continue until the state competition in September.

The Young Riders Horse Club teaches youth all about horses. Youth do not have to own a horse to join.

Feeder Calf Project

The 4-H/FFA Feeder Calf Project is a short-term project where youth purchase a young calf (or calves) to raise into feeder size. Participants attend meetings and weigh-ins, show their calves at the county fair, and sell their calves at the August CPH60 Cattle Sale.

The Market Lamb Project teaches youth about raising lambs for meat. Youth will learn about goal setting, record keeping, critical thinking, decision making, communication, responsibility, marketable skills, self-discipline, and leadership.

The 4-H Dairy Goat Club teaches all about dairy goats! Youth also have the opportunity to participate in the Goat Show at the Daviess County Fair in July.
