This training will help you:

1.    Understand why stormwater needs to be managed.
2.    Learn how to manage water runoff from roofs and sump pumps on-site.
3.    Discover how rain gardens can fit into existing landscapes or initial planning.
4.    Understand the principles of rain garden location, design, construction, and maintenance.
5.    Be able to select appropriate vegetation.
6.    Design, build, and plant a small rain garden during the workshop.

Participants will also help to install a rain garden. Please dress comfortably.
